Two months ago, Jemima came by the studio and asked if I’d like to take part in a fundraising event for Article 25. Naturally, I said yes without giving it too much thought. Thinking back, I must have been preoccupied and somewhat naive, as Jemima’s plan was to organise a 3 city cycle, from Liverpool to Warrington then Birkenhead and back. I heard 60 … in my head those being kilometers which was ok, since I cycle about 30 a day sometimes and I’m not too tired.
On the day, I was presented with a map and a smile and it was then I realised she said miles!!! 60 miles!!! that’s nearly 100 km! I didn’t back down and went through with it and somehow survived. We managed to fund raise a nice sum for Article 25 and no one fainted. Yay! Here’s proof:
