St. Anne’s College, Oxford – Hartland House

Project at BGS Architects. Refurbishment of the Grade II listed Hartland House designed by Giles Gilbert Scott. Provision of new library facilities and office spaces.

The listed status of the building needs a detailed listed building application, submitted at a convenient time for the college. Several feasibility studies were carried out. We carried out a detailed survey of the building and its services, as fairly little was known about it. Extensive conversations with college to establish a final brief.

Images and content on this page were produced during my year in practice, prior to starting an MArch course, whilst working as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant at Berman Guedes Stretton Architects.
